Th UK Actually. As for Finland, that's obvious. It is a Freezing Cold country with many long dark nights, lots of guns and booze and Scandenavian Ladies. They haven't got time, energy or desire to ruin the place they live.

This seems like a case of "oh we have some data we want to show, let's use Flash for no reason at all!" to me.

I question the source and how they came up with their metrics. Would be interested in seeing the survey instrument. I would also be interested in the political leanings of the "statisticians", and who funded the survey. Examples of bias in data collection and interpretation maybe, "Only good countries have nationalized health care systems" (health) "Only good countries have a dominate socialist party" (political) "Only good countries have a national teacher's union " (education) "Only good countries have a cap and trade scheme to save the planet" (quality of life) "Only good countries have a vast majority of white people" (weighting factor for affirmative action required to offset racist statisticians) But heck, as long as I can play with flash crap, why disclose any information as to how they collected and interpreted the data.

You mean like the link at the bottom of the flash app, where it says "Categories, metrics, and methodology"?

I had to install the POS, but I found a Chrome extension "Flashblock" which pretends I didn't unless I specifically say I want to see it. May be available for FF as well.

Real men don't use instructions. They are only the manufacturers opinion on how to put the thing together.

I think you mean "Thirteen years of criminal misrule by a pair of unrepentant, unreconstructed Stalinists will screw everything up for at least the next three generations." don't you?

they forgot to add in the price of drink. This clearly knocks Finland Sweeden, Norway and Denmark off the top of the list. Take Japan out because they are wierd, then add in taxation, and these countries sink even lower leaving: Astralia, Luxemberg, Canada, Netherlands, US, Germany NZ, UK, France, Ireland, Austria, Belgium... (after that its just crap all the way to the bottom.) And you know what, I agree with that list pretty much.
