...has resulted in a peace tio end all peace" said one comentator after the Versailles traty, implying that the so called peace, and the division of Europe would gurantee tensions down through the decades. And how right he was about Yugoslavia. But it continues, even though Belgium was created in 1840, it was extended to include some German speaking areas in 1919, and with the break up of Belgium likely, those areas wil revert to Germany: The most optimistic view of what would happen is that Wallonie [southern half of Belgium] would be split between France, Luxembourg and Germany[^] So, the break up of the Versailles treaty continues! Anyway, some details about the break up: There is actually already a province of Wallonia called Luxembourg, right next door to Luxembourg the country so that transition should be at least palatable, but, what the hell to do with Liege? A disgusting pit of filth and desperate heroin addicts a stones throw from Holland and Germany, but French speaking. Who the hell would want it and who should have it? And as for Fourons (Voeren), a Dutch speaking enclave in the French part that borders Holland. Give it to Holland?

Morality is indistinguishable from social proscription
