http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sSTLDel-G9k[^] I can see the funny side of it, and it was probably meant in jest, but it does leave the impression that the belief that 'non believers' should be killed is held by at least some in the GW camp, a thought bourne out by statements by Hansen and Monbiot. This accidentally/erroneously makes GW the same as extremist Islam (perhaps we should call it Extremist GW) in its complete lack of tollerance and screaming bloodlust of the faithful. This ultimately will destroy its credibilty and unless science distances itself form this mindset it too. Another example of tasteless imagery: http://www.act-responsible.org/ACT/ACTINCANNES/THE-EXPO/affiche.pdf[^] It really beggars belief that such an image can be used in all seriousness without seeing how it undermines their position.

I hold the belief that any extremist should be killed. Does that make me an anti-extremist extremist so I'd have to kill myself? :) And dude, that's a bloody pdf. Do you have that in a sane file format as well?

It makes you an extremist in which case suicide is your only option. :)

Here is an ammusing edit of the director of the film, really discussing another film, but inter laced with images from the 10:10 film. http://grumpyoldtwat.blogspot.com/2010/10/richard-curtis-talks-about-1010-mini.html[^] Nice ending by The Muse. Not sure Matt would like Uprising to be used this way, but the line "They will not force us, they will stop degrading us" seems appropriate somehow. :)

I am neither a believer or a non-believer, I am merely awaiting evidence which has not been forthcoming. As for the gore, is it appropriate to show children exploding, as this is what won't happen. What will happen is people in poor countries will have to stop breeding like vermin, and people in the richer countries will have to pay more for food.

Of course, Al Gore would never explode children, which is why he is so opposed to global warming.
