Has anyone read this book by William K. Black?

That's called seagull management (or sometimes pigeon management)... Fly in, flap your arms and squawk a lot, crap all over everything and fly out again... by _Damian S_

The only printed books I read are fiction :) But I'm sure CSS will chime in on how much he agrees with it, even though he'd never make it through the first paragraph.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

Just out of curiosity, do you read your own books when they've been printed?

I skim through them once, when I get the proof copy. But by then, I've read them so many times on the screen, that I'm just looking for formatting or printing problems.

So how did you get your novels published?

Booklocker.com It's self-publishing, so I actually pay the setup costs, but I have full control over everything, unlike with a traditional publisher. They still have an approval process, but it's just for quality, not marketability.
