Yeah, probably. Its difficult to comprehend this level of paranoia, since I live an almost anarchistic life.

He cannot cope with the world as it is, he is mentally challenged. I honestly don't think he is stupid, just willfully ignorant. And Paranoid. And Clinically Insane.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04AHUU_wxVg[^] Uh oh. --edit-- "At the start of the 60s we invited the guest-workers to Germany. We kidded ourselves for a while that they wouldn't stay, that one day they'd go home. That isn't what happened. And of course the tendency was to say: let's be 'multikulti' and live next to each other and enjoy being together, [but] this concept has failed, failed utterly." Angela Merkel, German chancellor "Germany should … get tougher on those who refuse to integrate before opening itself up to further immigration." Horst Seehofer, Bavarian state premier "Integration is the achievement of one who has integrated … I don't have to recognise anyone who lives from the state, rejects that state, refuses to ensure his children receive an education and continues to produce little headscarfed girls." "A large number of the Arabs and Turks living in this city (Berlin) has no productive function other than selling fruit and vegetables". "Turks are conquering Germany in the same way as Kosovars conquered Kosovo – with a high birth rate." Thilo Sarrazin, former Bundesbank board member Perhaps no one here wants to discuss this, thats a shame. The fact that Germany can move to the right is very telling. Of any of the European countires, and many of those have moved to the right, Austria, Holland, Belgium, France, German, because of its obvious history, is the one country that really had to stay dead center. But its not. And thats really quite surprising. This has implications for the European Union and the Euro (imagine a situation anymore extremist and Greece could be ejected from the EU for example since it is almost sure now that Turkey WONT gain entry (Since both France and now it seems Germany are against its membership)). Seriously guys, there is something quite fundamental happenig in Europe right now: http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/oct/17/far-right-growth-europe?intcmp=239[^] Perhaps Europe was ever right wing, but while the acts of the Nazis were recent memories they pretended no to be. Now there is a new generation in power that didnt expereince these events, its coming t

In case you hadn't noticed everyone is moving to the right. The bbc talking head show ( cant remember the name not hardtalk the one where they get journalists from different countries to give their views on what is going on ) was talking about the latest round of tory cuts leading to people to start asking what the point of having any kind of welfare state at all is. It was a typical case of the bbc towing the government line. I'm not getting into the argument for or against the cuts here ( dont have time for the research ) but then the point Im making is niether is the bbc.

No but it does give the right the opportunity to appeal to the working classes and the stupid. Just look at the arguments the bnp came out with in the last election. While their views are totally abhorrent they were really the only ones who were openly criticising the political system. The left has for too long tried to be reasonable and appease everyone, while the right has become more outspoken and therefore begun to attract the politically dissafected and socially disadvantaged that used to gravitate towards the left.
