I'm not either of those people. Just because you are a lamb to be willfully lead to its slaughter that doesn't mean that real red-blooded people are unpleasant, horrible, or malicious. Here is you cuttled up to the lion. [^]

Nah... That one isn't funny... Just pathetic. Then again, I'm having a bad week, and in a REALLY bad mood, so maybe I just can't find the humor in it right now... :sigh:

For sure. I didn't mean to imply that particular sequence was at all amusing. Just noteworthy for the brazen nature of it's stupidity, was all.

Yeah he sure is special. It's taken you this long to work it out? I was thinking yesterday about this place and how many really cool people I've had the opportunity to interact with yet the ones that stick out in my mind are the two or three that really truly are unpleasant, horrible, malicious people. It's a shame.

Yeah, that's too bad. You need to look at them more as a source of amusement than irritation. Not that I'm much good at that, but still.

I'm not talking about CSS, he adds character and colour to the place and I've learnt a ton from interacting with him. And it's not irritation but the reminder that a large portion of the world are arse holes when I would like to be able to assume that strangers are decent human beings.

Well, I... errr.... ummm... ;) Seriously, though, I don't find CSS to be particularly objectionable. I don't know if I'd go so far as to say I was learning from him... but then I've still never figured out who Alex whatshisname is; you know, his primary source of material. (I've been pointed in the right direction a couple of times but just didn't care enough to check it out.)

Yeah... I've never really labored under that particular delusion. The wife does a nice job of balancing out my own dark view of humanity. I'd be much more a Mr. Frederickson* if it wasn't for her. :-\ *Up.

FB's an interesting one. Acts like more and more of an arsehole till he gets the attention he obviously craves, tells us all were overreacting and it was just a joke then posts something reasonably pleasant. I predict that pattern will repeat before the end of the year.

Oh, it'll repeat. He posts the same crap over and over, compulsively, and if we object, he tells us to just ignore it. We ignore it and he starts posting it in the Lounge, because he's being ignored. He makes an undeniable ass of himself there and tries to beg off by claiming it's a joke. I'm telling ya, dude, if there's an individual here who's behavior is symptomatic of a serious mental issue, it ain't CSS.

Didn't they do it already on an earlier episode? I remember having seen something like this earlier, though I rarely watch that show (due to lack of TV dish and time :)). Maybe that's the United States' new plan for an unsuspicious National Missile Defense.
