http://www.forbes.com/2010/04/01/ge-exxon-walmart-business-washington-corporate-taxes_print.html[^] Interesting and the only cited place I've come across. So in other words accounting rules create fake profit. Even with the bailouts I think the banks are zombies.(insert zombie references now ;P )

That's called seagull management (or sometimes pigeon management)... Fly in, flap your arms and squawk a lot, crap all over everything and fly out again... by _Damian S_

Never read about it that way.. but was reading about Google All advertising revenue is taken in Ireland tax is paid on it there which is way lower than the US and the remainder is then shipped to a bank account in the Bahamas. Apparently saved them over $3 billion dollars last year alone

As barmey as a sack of badgers Dude, if I knew what I was doing in life, I'd be rich, retired, dating a supermodel and laughing at the rest of you from the sidelines.

Interesting. The news here claims Google's money originates in Ireland, then flows through the Netherlands to Bermuda, and then back to Ireland. Which doesn't make much sense to me, but whatever. Apparently it's called "the Dutch Sandwich"
