I've raved about her before, but it's time to do so again. I can't afford therapy, so this has to do, OK ? My sister in law married a man she had known for under 6 months, and right away fell pregnant without consulting him. They were always unhappy and she acted all surprised when after years of her bagging him and saying she was going to leave, he left. At the time she said that as he left her for another woman, she felt he should not see the kids as it taught them the wrong thing morally. There was much of 'how could he have someone else while he was married to me', 'what sort of man is he', 'what about the kids', etc. Of course they met her new boyfriend a few months later, in her bed, and it's gone downhill from there. Apparently she had a long standing affair with her boss which started just after the birth of her second child. He was also the father of two children. Now, what she does is her buisiness, and what he does is his. There are many layers on which I think that is a dumb move, as well as a selfish one, with four childrens families being involved and all, but she is a grown up and able to make her own choices. What burns me up is the hypocrisy with which she raved about her ex husband, who after years of being unhappy with a wife who clearly had grown to hate him, met someone else, and left for her. I'm not saying I think he did the right thing, and that's HIS right to choose as well, but as I say, it's the hypocrisy that just annoys the hell out of me. I am avoiding her nowadays because I just fear what I might say to her. Even my wife agrees, just when I think I can't think less of her, she helps me lower my standards yet again. Man, I feel for those kids. Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. :omg::wtf::omg: I remember your last post about your family. Man, you need to spend lots of time with her kids. Invite them over, show them what a real family is like. Otherwise, they'll grow up thinking that this (X|) is how families work. Sounds, once again, like your sister qualifies for one of those day-time talk shows that regularly scrape the bottom of the barrell for their topics and their guests. :|

They all used to call me Dad, I'm sure out of confusion. Nowadays Donna works and the kids are all in care together, usually with my mother in law, but both of them stay over fairly often. This is actually my sister-in-law, but my own sister is not much better. You're right though - there I was thinking they had nothing to offer society, and I was wrong. They need to get Ricki Lake or Springer on the phone. That sucks. Unfortunately, this is going to stay with the children into their adult years and will probably taint their outlook on life. A mother should strive to put her children before anything and provide them with a loving, relatively stable family. It's clear that this woman isn't considering how all the father-switching is affecting her children. But then what would I know, I'm only 20. :)
