I think its finally time to call in the undertakers on this one and carry lts sad carcase to its final resting place. Canadian Climate Bill dead. voted down a climate change bill ahead of an upcoming United Nations meeting on the issue in Mexico Read more: http://www.cbc.ca/technology/story/2010/11/17/senate-climate-bill.html#ixzz15d2433wr[^] The French recently binned their super green GW agency and binned their climate change law. The Chicago carbon exchange shut due to lack of interest, and Obama lost his cap and trade plan.       Its fucking dead! Its just a matter of time till the remaining staunch supporters drift away like crowds at a car crash after the ambulance has left.

"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct from natural variation." So the global conspiracy to suck money out of idiots is dead because a few high visibility items were defeated when cash is tight? Or is it your typical over reaction to anything related to the topic?

Actually they were defeated because the insane proposals would have cost thousands of Canadians their jobs. These changes would pretty much have crippled the Canadian economy.

          I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

I rather think of it as the lull before the global cooling debate begins.

Very likely, and that in itself is the death of AGW (I speak here not of the science, but the scare).
