"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct from natural variation." Not really on topic for what's being discussed, but I have to admit I find clear satellite shots of parts of the planet in the throws of winter to be quite beautiful. Last year's is especially amazing because in winter I would expect that there aren't too many opportunities to get a shot with that little cloud cover.

          I wasn't, now I am, then I won't be anymore.

Yeah, me too. Last years was an incredible photo. I dont think th eUK has ever been completely covered in snow since at least the 60's, and to get a photo on a clear day for space is a rare thing. And very impressive.
