    First I thought its Opera thats not showing any changes, but today I tried with IE. Still everything is looking same.

      I can't tell in any detail, it has to do with layout behavior under extreme conditions. I expect there to be a difference only on really wide windows, so you'll need either a wide monitor or a virtual desktop. :)

        I can't tell in any detail, it has to do with layout behavior under extreme conditions. I expect there to be a difference only on really wide windows, so you'll need either a wide monitor or a virtual desktop. :)

          Text doesn't read well when it gets very wide; web pages get designed for some width range, which typically is much smaller than the width of those "rather large" monitors. If I had such a beast, I wouldn't make my browser window that wide... :)

            That's for certain, especially with languages you don't read very well. I have one 17" monitor rotated to portrait (old pic here[^]), which I use for documents.

              I think the max width should be 800px of fixed width layout. I have 1280 width and it doesn't get in center. So basically its for extra large screens, thats rare.
