I'm sorry, but I have been a member here pretty much since the beginning. I fully respect the right of other people to differ in opinion from me. I hate CodeGuru. I really do, their user system is garbage, the rating system creates bad feelings and there is no sense of community. Others obviously disagree, when I have gone there to answer questions because CP is down, they still seem pretty busy. This Rod dude seems to have major issues with this site though, and not just the whole non-issue of needing an account to download stuff. Check this [^]post out. I feel sorry for Chris, and all the people who are official site builders here, that they need to put up with this crap when all they have done is work hard to provide us with a free resource. If Rod thinks the people who run this site cannot be trusted, or are scheming against him, he should bog off and go somewhere else. I can't imagine why he hasn't done so. Maybe he is so starved of human contact that he mistakes the outrage he generates for love. I propose in the spirit of that chick who got her credit card paid off that we start a fund to help him get professional help, some therapy is obviously needed. And to think I considered posting this to the lounge....... Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002

I really don't understand the problem the guy has with the move Chris made - just because you have to join before viewing articles he thinks its going to turn into a paysite. He's quite a cynical guy, and I don't like his negative comments about the site in general and the authors that post articles here. I'm getting sick of him whining at everybody like a little spoilt child.
