Take a look of given two of same question(pattern same) posted before 3 month-Answer 1 First Answer[^] posted today-Answer 5 Second Answer(Blame)[^] is it right to plagiarizing of someone answer in CP. if so then no one will care about plagiarizing. I don't know what CPians think about my question but I need answer of my question soon.

The correct place to register your disapproval is on the posting by Sandeep. Add a comment explaining that you think he's plagiarising you, that way he receives the notification.

Maybe he just found this site: http://dotnetdomain.blogspot.com/2010/11/running-program-at-startup.html[^] You're right of course that when content from other sites is posted you have to include a reference from where you "borrowed" it.

For your kindly information take a look at date of post blogger(K Ganesh Kumar) it is "3 November 2010". and when I have written my answer it was "31 oct 2010". it means he is also doing plagiarizing..

I don't think this is really plagiarizing. Yes you answered a similar question with the same answer, but can you really expect all of us to know you did? If he found the answer by searching the forums here and seeing your answer he could have mentioned your post yes. But if we have to remember every answer ever giving by every member just so we don't run the risk of plagiarizing someone then I'm afraid no answers will be given ever. I does appear to be a exact copy paste from your answer so in my personal opinion he should have just linked to your post but isn't the main purpose of the forums & Q/A to answer questions? Just my 2 cents, I'll let the powers that be decide :)

Correction. The OP is right. It was his answer, that I edited for grammar, and Sandeep and the blogger dude copied it verbatim.

That blog is also a plagiarizing of the OP's answer. So it seems, the blog guy copy/pasted the OP's answer, and Sandeep copy/pasted from the blog. Multiple levels of copy/paste-ing :-)

Well, both the blog and Sandeep's reply were direct copy/paste-d versions of the OP's answer that I edited for grammar. Not sure if Sandeep directly took his reply or if he copied it from the blog. Once again I am just stating the facts here since my name was dragged into this discussion. I personally don't care at all if people copy/paste my replies. (although in this case, it is NOT my reply, I edited the OP's reply, so it was the OP"s answer that got plagiarized)

Geez, this never ends huh? Alright, here's a date wise breakdown then: (1) Oct 31, 2010 : OP posts a reply and Nish edits it for grammar/formatting. (2) Nov 3, 2010 : K Ganesh Kumar copies OP's answer verbatim on his blog (no credit given). (3) Jan 10, 2011: Sandeep copies either OP's reply or perhaps from the blog, I'd guess from OP's reply because he includes the footnote too which the blog guy did not copy. Most ironically the answer is extremely basic and is something that anyone who's ever spent a day programming on Windows will know automatically.

Yeah, since it was a letter by letter copy/paste, he should have just linked to the thread. BTW I had wrongly assumed that the OP was saying I was involved and I also incorrectly assumed that it was my answer, since it showed my name too, albeit under the edited by column. I have quickly edited/corrected all my replies which must have seemed like utter nonsense to the poor OP :-O

I does appear to be a exact copy paste from your answer so in my personal opinion he should have just linked to your post but isn't the main purpose of the forums & Q/A to answer questions?

Yeah, since it was a letter by letter copy/paste, he should have just linked to the thread. BTW I had wrongly assumed that the OP was saying I was involved and I also incorrectly assumed that it was my answer, since it showed my name too, albeit under the edited by column. I have quickly edited/corrected all my replies which must have seemed like utter nonsense to the poor OP :-O

I don't mind it also. please see my post I am talking about CP rules and regulation where CP states that any kind of Copy/Paste is strictly prohibited. that's why I am posted here. but I think CPians taking it in wrong way.

We aren't taking it the wrong way. Be proactive, and tell the other poster that he's plagiarizing. I'm not sure what else you'd expect to happen, as it's such a trivial offence that I can't see what else you'd expect to happen.

He might forgot to made a link to your answer/blog answer/Nish's answer. Also I have used his Tip/Trick for my answer some times. Recently Answer 1[^] & Answer 2[^] IMO he is a good answerer.
