"It is a remarkable fact that despite the worldwide expenditure of perhaps US$50 billion since 1990, and the efforts of tens of thousands of scientists worldwide, no human climate signal has yet been detected that is distinct from natural variation." Humans didn't come from monkeys. Monkeys have tails and prehensile feet and are not in anyway closely related to humans. The dentition alone shows a seperate evolutionary line, probably splitting about 8-10 million years ago. We are apes, specifically homonids, and whilst we are related to Gorilla, Pan and Pongo, we are not descended from them either, that split occuring about 5 million years ago. If there were to be a vulva majoris from which sprang humans, it would likely be australopithecine or Ardipithecine, from about 4.4 million years ago.
