I am a C/C++ programmer and have experience in other languages but I recently began working with Python for a class I am taking. I really like it. It is neat, concise, and rather powerful. I'd like to see something devoted to Python such as a message/discussion board. I currently use IronPython 2.7 with VS integration, which is OpenSource by the way. Are there any other Python enthusiasts out there? (edited) I am such a jackass I never noticed there was a forum already. Thanks anyway.

I played with Python several versions ago, just before they did the complete re-write. It is very powerful but I, regrettably, have no need for it at the moment. It's on my, steadily growing, list of things to get round to.

Python programmers are being lumped in with VB programmers right now. Use that forum. (Just kidding. Don't do that - the VB programmers' little heads will explode.)

I've been meaning to learn Python and kept putting it off until I finally jumped in. I watched the MIT OpenCourseware Lectures from course 6.00--Intro to Comp Science. I have no real use for it besides just for play but I do enjoy it.

Python is so simple even a VB programmer can use it ;)
