    Hi, I have been trying to send update for last two days for my article at MFC/C++ Helper Class for Window Resizing[^] to sean.ewington@codeproject.com and also to submit@codeproject.com But the email is failing. What is the problem? Regards, Mizan

      If there is an exe in the .zip file, you must rename the .zip to something like ".zzz". Include a note in the email, saying that the .zzz is really a .zip file.

        Thank you for the quick reply. Ok, I will rename it. It must be a new restriction on your end, becuase I had have sent mail with zipped .exe file many times before.

          The email provider was recently changed, and doesn't allow exe in .zips. As you can tell, this is a very superficial restriction, and easily overcome. :)

            CP has added a direct mailer form here: http://www.codeproject.com/script/Articles/Submit.aspx[^] Try using that.

              Yes. I know, but this was not working for a previous poster (yesterday). Don't know if it's been fixed. My patented '.zzz' method always works. :)

                It is a new restriction, but not that new - and it's been advertised in at least one newsletter, if not more. Nice to see people updating articles though - keep it up! Iain.
