I've driven all the way to my parents (about 100 mile/160 km trip) for the weekend. Now that I'm finally here I think I'm coming down with the flu. I'm dizzy, stumach hurts and I feel a head ache lurking in the back of my head. I also have an inflamation in my hip joint to top it off. Looks like I won't be going to the gunshop, run a really nice 6 mile/10 km forrest track, smooth talk that woman who rents a room in my sisters house, fix my damn car (it can't idle when it's cold), wash my car or have a few beers with my brother. Damnit. I had plans for this weekend: RELAX. I don't want to lie down :( -- If I had the ability to smooth talk like John Simmons, this post would be less sarcastic and more to the point.

Check the automatic choke, and the coolant temperature sensor that drives it. There might also be a vaccuum leak that occurs only in cold weather - a bitch to find, usually. But if you can get that lady you're planning to chat up to help, have her hold the rpms at about 1200 while you spray carb cleaner on all the vaccuum joints, one at a time. When the rpms sag suddenly, you've found it.:-D I hope you're feeling better.... "When in danger, fear, or doubt, run in circles, scream and shout!" - Lorelei and Lapis Lazuli Long

um... perhaps the smooth-to-talk-to, room renting lady finds a new occupation in caring the sick and needy?

Bummer. I know how you feel, I'm only just recovering from a nasty flu myself. I've been stuck inside since Tuesday, mostly watching TV or lying in bed since I couldn't cope with anything more physically or intellectually stimulating. I hope you get better quickly. :rose: Kevin
