    I've just toggled the Disney switch with my WinXP and now [that it looks like Win2K] I'm happier. Don't get me wrong, I'm all for adding bubblegum code to my apps to *try* and sell more of them, but ... come on!

    this.Disney = !this.Disney

    Never again will my OS look like a Fisher-Price toy. ***for the record: I used to like WinXP's look, but I think it's um ... :~ ...caused my keyboard to break. Cheers, Simon "From now on, if rogue states want to buy weapons of mass destruction, they're going to have to go on eBay," Mr. Bezos said.

      If I had known I could do that, I may still be running XP today. Christian No offense, but I don't really want to encourage the creation of another VB developer. - Larry Antram 22 Oct 2002 Hey, at least Logo had, at it's inception, a mechanical turtle. VB has always lacked even that... - Shog9 04-09-2002 Again, you can screw up a C/C++ program just as easily as a VB program. OK, maybe not as easily, but it's certainly doable. - Jamie Nordmeyer - 15-Nov-2002

          We brought out this new and very similar version of our expensive software because the old version was......old....It's a good enough excuse for Microsoft so its fine for us.

            Ah the many wonders of Win2K. The only things i miss from XP is: the image preview app...so handy. Also, i like the way it handles thumbnails. I.e. the image thumbnails and the way it shows folders with images in (the little preview pics that appear on the folder itself. plus the "Tile" view i think its called, where there are large icons but with the text and info next to them. MS should make an free addon pack for win 2k with these apps/features in.
