Hi, Is there anyway to download the visual express 2010 windows phone 7 on xp pro machine? I would like to start learning WP7 but it seems that I can not run the .exe because only windows 7 and vista is supported and not XP pro. Any t houghts please? Thanks

The tools are not supported on XP. Windows Phone Developer Tools[^]

I've done it before, and the results are not pretty. You can compile programs and you can deploy them to a real device, but you cannot debug them on XP. As already mentioned this isn't supported. Running the Windows Phone Dev Tools on Windows XP[^]
