    F.lux[^], adjusts the contrast of the monitor depending on the time of day; also on Linux :) --edit; Doesn't fall exactly into the "Free tools for software development" category, does it?

      Hi Eddy, F.lux is a very neat program, and its system-tray-based ui is a great example of an appropriately "graphic" interface. fyi: may not play nicely with the latest beta of nVidia graphic card drivers (which is probably nVidia's beta's problem). best, Bill
