Cedrick Collomb's "UnLocker"[^] current version: 1.9.1 OS compatibility: "2000 / XP / 2003 / Vista / Windows 7" (Win 7 since version 1.9.0) A neat tool for file/folder unlocking (and more) which can be run in the system tray, and can be added to Windows context-click menu, I've used it on both Win Vista 32 and 64-bit Win 7. The problem with Unlocker is that it comes bundled with all kind of crap. It use to put down an ebay shortcut... it now installs the bing toolbar, etc... As a result it has been black listed by many anti-viruses and firewalls. It's a shame because it's a good tool, I just wish the installer was not bundled with all this rubbish. Valery.

The installer offers options to not install the crap. Do these options not work for you?
