Hello, Am new here and am somewhat curious. Is it possible for one's article rating to go down after being UPVOTED? Anything like negative votes or weights? My article Genetic Algorithm - A 'Walt Disney' Introduction[^] had a rating of 4.80. It was later upvoted twice (both 5's) and is now 4.65. Can someone please edify me? thanks, Regards

You can see a detailed explanation of how the votes work here: http://www.codeproject.com/KB/FAQs/RatingReputationFAQ.aspx#Ratings[^] If you have a number of votes of 5 from Bronze-level members and a Gold level member votes a 4, then your overall rating might go down.

Thanks, Sean Ewington The Code Project
