Is just seems to me that all the old timers migrated to the soapbox with topics they would have used in the lounge not but a few months back

Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong

I've noticed this too. It's less noisy in here, and more "real" issues get discussed. The lounge hasn't lost it's appeal though. Right now I have two windows open - one of the Lounge and one of the Soapbox. :-O (ok, so I'm migrating SQL tables & stored procedures from dev to live - it's really boring!)

You've been peeking at my screen! Having two monitors (only 17", but they say size doesn't matter...) helps too. :) Megan Forbes wrote: (ok, so I'm migrating SQL tables & stored procedures from dev to live - it's really boring!) I know the feeling - my concentration is all over the place at the moment. I'm supposed to be doing UML modelling and writing IDL, but I'm actually adding theme support to our app because it's more fun! :-O Anna :rose: www.annasplace.me.uk

I guess the soapbox hasn't been overrun with newbies asking stupid questions, yet -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

Plus things get pushed out of the front of the Lounge far too fast for my needs to be satisfied :-D

Eh, you whipper-snapper! Back in *my* day, "The Soapbox" was known as "The Slimepit", and contained nothing but hard-core porn. CP just isn't what it used to be... *shog recalls that Shaun has been a member waaay longer than he has* er, uh yeah, yer observation sounds rational and correct. :)
