I wonder if we could automate this. For example, your first article must: 1. have an image 2. have a downloadable source code 3. have a downloadable project 4. have 3 code examples (

    ...code...

) 5. have text surrounding the code examples 6. probably should be in English 7. probably shouldn't have any wacky symbols. 8. The links for 1, 2, and 3 should work. #2 should include some recognizable file extension #3 should include some recognizable file extension Neither #2 or #3 should be too hard to implement, I would think. It seems that some fairly simple program could go through and validate these rules. I'll even volunteer to write it! (I wonder if that gets anyone's attention) These rules (and others?) should not be publicly known, and you should get an automatic rejection email with explanation if you fail to do this. Are email addresses required/validated when you become a member (I can't re-member [ooh, bad pun]). Other ideas include grammar and spell checking. Marc Help! That is a stupid idea! I can think of loads of articles that wouldn't need to fulfill those requirements. :~

Don't we have a ranking system? and comments section? People just have to realize that with a wealth of free information comes the possibility that you might have to waste a few minutes reading crap. BW "Computers are useless. They only give you answers." - Pablo Picasso

Well, I think of it more like a TV or radio. I'd just rather turn it off. Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.
