Is an idiot. Not trying to claim otherwise or defend him in anyway. But. Why is racial abuse of someone worse than any other type of abuse of someone? Especially in a one on one situation. For example why is called a black man a black cunt worse than calling a fat man a fat cunt? Or for that matter a ginger cunt, short cunt, bald cunt? After all it is simply picking the most obvious physically defining feature and lumping it together with an insult. Just asking like.

It isn't. Since there is no universal entity that decides what is bad, nothing is bad. Things can only be bad according to someone, ie it's always an opinion. The same goes for "worse". Why do some people have that opinion? There is no logical reason for it, therefore aliens brainwashing.

Harold has it right, it all comes down to opinion which in this case is probably driven by PC and the media. Your peers and the people you listen to consider a racial slur more offensive than others! I recently found myself in the shit when asked how I had fixed a problem I claimed "White mans magic" - in Asia, I guess I should change that to "Old mans/grumps/curmudgeons/bastards magic" no one can argue with that!
