DTC crashing SQL server on an update?

Hi, I don't have the detail but speaking to a coworker who had suspicion that his SQL server crashed on DTC error. He quoted this: http://connect.microsoft.com/SQLServer/feedback/details/243725/linked-server-sourceserver-was-unable-to-begin-a-distributed-transaction[^] His suspicion was updates on link server causes DTC to fail due to security or causing bounce messages back and forth. Anybody has similar experience? Sorry again I don't have further detail but I still want to ask out of curiosity. Anyone manage to crash SQL server by way of DTC?
