Windows API and WinRT/Metro forums should be distinct.

Maybe they should separate forums into "Abandoned MS Technologies" and "Current MS Erection Technologies". Of course, almost everything would end up as a sub-category under the Abandoned group.

Hey Chris, In my opinion, that still does not justify combining two unrelated forums. Unless you rename the forum to "Everything else".
