My one memory of him is Jeffrey Robertsons hypothetical, and his insistence that yes, he WOULD kill Salmon Rushdie given the chance. I'm being followed by a moon shadow.... Christian P.S. Paul Watson wrote: Cat Stevens [...] rocks. He's done some good stuff. "Morning has broken", "Moon shadow" (though i liked Roger Whitaker's cover better), "Father and Son"... Though the guy himself is a bit messed up to say the least. BTW: i have this MP3 attributed to Cat titled "Dog was a Donut". I've never seen or heard of this song, nor can i find it listed in any Cat Stevens discography... but it's a cool track, so i'd love to know if he really did write it, or if not, who did?

My housemate's been trying to play "Wild World" for the last 2 months. He's loud and not very good. :( But I give him "A" for effor. A BBC friend of mine loves playing the guitar and does a good version of "Father and Son" (my favourite Cat Steven's track.) He has played with Robin Auld (an apparently famous SA musician) so he is no palooka. Atlantys wrote: He's loud and not very good. But I give him "A" for effor :-D Good for you. Effort is important, commendable, admirable. Still, always good to have ear muffs around if your flat mate is a wannabe musician :-D

Paul Watson wrote: Still, always good to have ear muffs around if your flat mate is a wannabe musician Well... I'm sure I would have said something not-so-nice, but I found out that he was learning it to impress this cute girl we know.. So, I figured it was OK(tm). :-D And when the sounds get really bad, I just turn my music up a bit. :-D I prefer to wear gloves when using it, but that's merely a matter of personal hygiene [Roger Wright on VB] Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better idiot-proof programs, and the Universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots.
