I just visited the demographics section of this site. What i found interesting is that we have many members from Afghanistan, infact it is in top 15. No idea whether this fact is real or not, but i am aware that currently there is no proper infrastructure of telecommunications or Internet in Afghanistan. ;) Well the more interesting part of story is that Japan is not present in top 15. Also i personally never noted any Japanese posting anything in forums here. Am i right in this analysis ?? Any of your ideas ??? I thing that many new members may simply have been goofing around. The last time I registered a Microsoft product, I was living in Antarctica. Brrrr... Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.

maybe its because Afghanistan is the first country in the list? However I am really surprised by the low number of UK members. Well if they don't join then tough, I look good as I come here to solve problems and if they want to re-invent the wheel yet again and let their projects overrun - haha. I've got better things to worry about than other developers who are unwiling to take help when it is offered- this 'not written here' syndrome that we have still in the UK is a right pain the arse.

Technically speaking the dictionary would define Visual Basic users as programmers.
But here again, a very generalized, liberal definition is being employed and it's wrong

Besides the "Ughugh, I click Avgunistahn, funny, yes?", and being the first in the list, you should remember that it wasn't your typical 3rd world country before the Taliban took over. Quite some good engineers probably did hide in huts and behind veils. And probably they are all searching for the source code of the pipeline building game...

I was surprised too. I was just scrolling through the list to see what was there. I don't think they filter the list based on any intelligent criteria. Did you expect them to? Oh oh. My cat just stepped on my keyboard and hit the "CD play" button. Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.
