        If absolutely necessary, you can delete it and recreate it. However, that is very counterproductive. For example, anybody with a bookmark to it will lose that bookmark. Also, you may lose reputation points associated with the article.

          If in previous version there was some mistake and in version i hv corrected that one..what should I do?? I can't delete it bcoz, as you mentioned I will lose reputation points associated with the article

            Just leave it. It really doesn't matter if an older version has a mistake you corrected. Why do you think it should?

              Maybe we are talking about different things. You can just edit your article or tip/trick and only the newest revision will be displayed. A user has the option of viewing old revision of an article if they choose to, but that will not be what they get by default. Now, if you create a second article or tip/trick, then you are just making the mistake of creating a second article when you should just edit your first article. I'm not sure what the problem you are having is.
