Project file and exe file

This is using vb6... Help I've just encountered some problem with my application. When i am running my application from the Project file, everything works fine, but when i made the exe file, a run-time error occurs when i run some process. Does anyone know the error only occurs in the exe and not the project file? btw, the error occurs regarding the sort method of the range class of the excel object Notorious SMC
