But they did give their customers a credit for the outage! 1 month of service for each site.

Where did you hear that? I have about 100 domains with GoDaddy, a few of them being pointed to Azure, and a few are websites hosted with GoDaddy. GoDaddy hasn't sent me any emails about a 1-month credit.

Still nothing for me. Maybe they are selectively offering this benefit?
