Noticed too, that idle talk lately took over the soapbox, and the "war on war on terrorism" fairly regulary takes place in the lounge? Restricting rants to ranting zones obviously doesn't work. So, just a thought: Is cyanide gas worse than a cluster bomb? Is a barrel of anthrax worse than a thermobaric bomb? Is mustard gas worse than depleted uranium ammunition? oh, and Who Gassed The Kurds[^]?

They were primarily put into the arsenal as a substitute for napalm - just as effective but safer for the pilot, plus they can be fired from artillery when needed.
