Getting fired

One of my clients fired an employee on Thursday. This guy was lazy and literally refused to do certain work like inventory cycle counts. When he got fired, he got all hot and steamy and said he would "take it to the labor board". What I don't get is, this guy is putting more effort into all his threatening noises than he ever put into his job. :mad: Good riddance, I say. Marc Help! I'm an AI running around in someone's f*cked up universe simulator.

...it will lead to a revolution! Actually, I wish it would. The boss likes to use a stick instead of a carrot, and most everyone pretty much loathes him. But that's also because they don't stick up for themselves. I once yelled at him because he pissed me off so bad, and now he respects me. Go figure. Marc Help! Every line of code is a liability - Taka MuraokaSadly, I exactly know what this kind of guys is. They lack taking a slap in the head from time to time. It's not violence, it's a civil action :) The funny thing is that guy wonders why his staff is totally unmotivated. But it can't be his responsibility, it's always because of the others, isn't it ? I found a solution to avoid to be harassed. I try to be impressive when I arrive in a new society, even scary if necessary, so people get affraid to break my balls. Generally, I soften this image after a while, if everything's quiet :)
