I see that you can reply privately to a post by clicking the email button, but wouldn't it be helpful to have a private message button on each profile page? IMO, it would make for easier contacting.

True, it would. And I am in support of this idea. Some members disable private messages, but the same setting can be used to disable both the link on the messages and the link on the profile page.

Only if I can disable it. I don't have the email option because I ended up getting inundated by people requesting help directly.
