Requirement for "Articles needing approval"?

Is there some requirement to be able to view the "Articles needing approval" section (besides being signed in)? One of my friends has an account and can't view this section. Thanks, Kris

Yes. People above certain reputation only can view and vote for an article to be published. Further, it takes 5 votes for an article to get approved.

In addition to Sandeep, you need to be a Silver author (if you're a Silver author, you've more than 1000 author reputation points).
In some cases, my signature will be longer than my message...
