Quicky on *bad word here* resolution

Just a to the point answer is asked for: What date was set last year for the weapons inspectors full and final report to be delivered with the full co-operation of Iraq? And what was the agreed upon course of action if this deadline was not met? (CNN is so slow for me at the moment that I cannot even get into their archives to check. ta.)

27th of March, apparently, although I'm not sure if that's a "final" date or not (older stories say it's final, newer ones seem to disagree) http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/middle_east/2419885.stm[^] KEY DATES* 27 January 2003: Blix reports on inspector's progress
- 29 January: Security Council meets to discuss Blix report
- 31 January: Bush-Blair summit
- 27 March: Blix to present next report to Security Council -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

As far as I remember yesterday or whenever the Hans Blix report was handed in was the deadline and the Iraqi's have been stalling. So is the US backing off now and being like the UN in letting dates slip.

Well, I found an earlier page (mid december) that listed the 27th Jan as the date for the first report, and "End of March" for the final report So it looks like they're exactly on schedule -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

I guess I got confused by "first report" and "final report." End of march? Jeeesh, we have to wait that long before they invade Iraq? Going to be two llllooonnnggg polarised months on CP.

That's assuming the governments in question can be bothered to wait -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!

I went straight to the Source[^] - the resolution itself. As far as I can tell it specifies only ONE date: the report to be made 60 days after the resumption of inspections. I think that we just saw the only specific deadline set by this resolution pass... Maybe some earlier resolutions had some kinds of dates and "final reports", but 1441 does not seem to.
