Developers who create Access database tables but don't fill in the Description field of column defintions. Access is one of the few databases that allows Descriptions to be added to columns without too much hassle. So I'm now left with the problem of figuring out exactly what Flag1 is supposed to store. Michael The avalanche has started, it's too late for the pebbles to vote.

Go to MSDN -> Search For -> type in "Flag1" -> press "Go". Good Luck! :):)

How about giving the fields a more descriptive name instead of "Flag1." BTW, after being forced into a 9 month gig of straight Access 97 programming, all I have to say is... I HATE ACCESS!!!! Jason Gerard qeou kai kurioV Iasou Cristou douloV

I can't imagine any moron not taking advantage of it, except in a temporary db for experimenting with the product. Maybe it would make sense if a developer had the luxury of doing the whole job at one sitting, but most jobs are fragmented, and it would be a battle to try, after a few days or weeks absence, to remember just what Int1 and Flag3 were supposed to do. Nobody wants to read a diary by someone who has not seen the shadow of Bubba on the prison shower wall in front of them!

I've having to try and figure out why and what is stored where. There is very limited code but lots of reliance of Access Forms to save the data. It's messy, but I'll figure it out eventually. Someone like that would probably put 'union jack' or 'stars and stripes' in the Description  The tigress is here :-D

I didn't mean having you remain the fields. But the original person should have named them properly. Jason Gerard qeou kai kurioV Iasou Cristou douloV
