I use multiple language inputs on my machine (English US for programming, French Canadian for corresponding). I used to use the little logo on my taskbar to switch from one to another. But starting today, this icon is no longer there, even if I choose to display the Language toolbar, and the Left Alt-Shift does not work either. Anyone have seen this??/

I battled for ages trying to stop that bar from appearing. I turned it off, rebooted, and it came back. It stopped doing that after I applied some service pack or Windows update.

Did you by chance accidentally click the little Restore button next to the lang indicator, which puts it into floating mode? By default the IME window is transparent when it doesn't have the focus, so you might not have noticed it. --Mike-- The Internet is a place where absolutely nothing happens.   -- Strong Bad 1ClickPicGrabber - Grab & organize pictures from your favorite web pages, with 1 click!
