Please, someone return me to my sanity! Why, oh why, can the "leading" operating system not provide a decent file explorer? Windoze Explorer pauses (ignoring user input) whilst it spins up my CD drive and ZIP drive to determine what's there. So I only wanted to use the C: anyway, but had to wait until all removable media was discovered. (No wonder I like the command prompt so much). Why, oh why, can Explorer not keep my tree up to date? I deleted the folder USING EXPLORER, and now it claims that
folder is not accessible...This folder was moved or removed
. No sh1t sherlock - I told YOU to delete it!!! (No wonder I like the command prompt so much). Even a refresh doesn't update the tree view! Honestly; which moron wrote the Windows Explorer?

Yeah, I get something similar - I've got an old spare hard drive in my system, that is rarely used (and so usually just stays parked by the system) Every so often, Windows will decide that it needs to spin up the drive for some reason, which causes the entire computer to lock up for a couple of seconds. Very annoying -- Help me! I'm turning into a grapefruit!
