Need some tips for marketing your business ?

HI all , one of my friend wants to start his website for his hotel. he is in the business of hotels / restaurant. website would be static mostly. like some image gallery/services /about us / contact us pages etc. what we want to know that how to market his business online apart from creating a social media pages on fb and twitter. what other things we should take care of ?

okay. i dont know such rules. and also i tried my luck that some people may not follow the Lounge and may be interested in viewing post from sales/Marketing only. and the Lounge you know it is a quickest way to get your question some answers. that's why i post in both. will be carefull next time...
