message notification system and modified email

Hello After I changed the email address of my profile, I do not receive any message notification anymore. That is: if somebody adds a question on my article, I do not receive notification as I did in the past. I guess it is bug in the site's code. Note: When I answer a question, I let "E-mail me if someone replies to this message" checked, but I do not receive notifications. Any reflection ? Thank you
