What is the process for getting spam removed?

Hi Guys A few days ago we got a bunch of spam messages (http://www.codeproject.com/Messages/4822911/Nile.aspx[^]). I reported them all as spam and reported the member as a spammer too. Is there a time period that needs to elapse before such messages and accounts are removed, or does it require a certain number of votes? Rgds

There needs to be a certain number of votes for messages and accounts to be removed. Reporting in the Spam and Abuse forum[^] gets quick action. (Messages and account all gone)
