Communication with owner(s) of forked ::Workspace
-
I just updated this[^] fork (still using manual method ;) ) and found that the changes Chris made are not polished. So I decided to ask him if he need more help with and the nature of that help. I went to the pull request with my changes, gone to the 'Discusion' tab and found that I can't post there. So the only way left to me is to send Chris an email. An option to communicate via CodeProject is seems to me as much better - a single email can go missing easily, while a comment in the system will stick to its subject forever...
I'm not questioning your powers of observation; I'm merely remarking upon the paradox of asking a masked man who he is. (V)

Indeed, the comments in the pull requests were disabled in too many use cases, including yours. We have fixed that, you should be able to post the comments already. Thanks for pointing this out.

As I told, now I can communicate over pull request, but no notifications when someone else posts a comment... See here: https://workspaces.codeproject.com/codeproject/codeproject/wysiwyg-editor/pull_requests/show/538e075d702d674f4ba80a00[^]. I found out about Marcos' post by pure chance...

Thanks. Indeed, some kind of watching the thread would be useful. We'll add this case to our todo list.

It depends on how fast the notification email arrives :)
