Hello, In my article SCRUM explained[^] it looks like to two voters are trashing my article for no apparently reason, since their motives for down-voting my article are so lousy. Could you please have a look and give me your opinion? Thank you, Regards, Eduardo Eduardo

Take a look at the dropdown histogram of your votes. Their outlier votes have been removed automatically. Our system considers them too far off what constitutes the community average and so discounts them. If you disagree with a vote because you think it's being abusive then you can mark the "my vote of 1" message as abuse. However: Voicing your opinion is not abuse. It's voicing your opinion. If that opinion is abusive then it's abuse. Please think carefully before voting.

Hello Chris, I didn't realize this automatic mechanism. It is really quite useful. What drives me mad is when people make comments which do show the reality at all of an article. I am OK with criticism, but it should be fair. Anyway, thank you for the wise words :). Cheers, Eduardo

It's frustrating for sure, and we do what we can but we're always open to discussing new ideas if any come to mind.

Now to the other side of the coin. I hate to do this, but you have called our attention to your article by posting this and I noticed the first image in your article has a copyright notice on it. A little bit of searching reveals that you are allowed to use that particular image as long as you reference "Mountain Goat Software" - I don't see any references, so please add that to your article. If you in fact have included the references and I somehow missed them, I apologize for bringing it up. http://www.mountaingoatsoftware.com/agile/scrum/images/[^] Soren Madsen

Hey guys, If you take a look in the article's forum, there is a lot of "trash talk" (not swearing words but lots of irony and unnecessary comments). I am not proud of it but I could not restrain myself. Should I leave it there? Eduardo

Only you can answer that. You can a) leave it b) edit it be crossing out the offending bits c) delete them The comments are a public record of you. Is it OK that the public record contains those comments?
