Robogrunt: the US military's plans for robot armies[^] Hunter-Killer's ability to strike deep into enemy territory, no matter how dangerous, should allow the US military to dispense entirely with Europeans, except maybe for sweeping up afterwards. :wtf: Citing from the DARPA website - have a look at the numbers :): Full version of DARPA's Strategic Plan in .pdf format: DARPA's Strategic Plan- 4.5mb (DARPAStrategicPlan2003.pdf) Because of the size of the document, DARPA's Strategic Plan has been broken down into two parts to quicken the download time. (PDF version): DARPA's Strategic Plan, Part 1 (pages 1-12) - 242kb (dsp_part1.pdf) DARPA's Strategic Plan, Part 2 (pages 13-16) - 598kb (dsp_part1.pdf) So 242Kb + 598Kb = 4.5 Mb ?? And those guys you trust enough to hand over military equipment? Doh.

So 242Kb + 598Kb = 4.5 Mb ?? That's the new "fuzzy math" introduced by appointed president Bush.

Waste of money - ten years tops and we'll be dropping platoons of elite special forces clones out of aeroplanes anyway. Life is cheaper than technology remember, much cheaper - so long as it isn't yours.
