Ok, I have three things for you this morning, at least one of them must take your fancy: First one is for Nishant: Hey Nish, I am reading Life of Pi by Yann Martel. Excellent book and has a lot of India in it. The other night I had a good laugh though because it mentions "As for Elfie [an elephant], she lived out the rest of her days at the Trivandrum Zoo." Aren't you from Trivandrum old boy? Good book BTW. :) Second one is for Nelson Mandela: So well meaning but daft South Africans are organising human shield volunteers to go to Iraq and stand in the way of the US... sorry... UN. You know, they strap themselves to tanks, WoMDs, hospitals, biological warheads, that kind of thing and try and stop the Axis Of Bush from shooting any Iraqis. What has this got to do with Nelson Mandela? Well his ex-wife, Winnie Mandela, is considering volunteering for this. To this all of South Africa can only say: Go Winnie! Go! Make us proud and die quickly so we can forget you and your stupid hats! Third and lastly *yay!* is for all humans: The health MEC in the Eastern Cape is being brought to court for refusing to redistribute anti-retrovirals. The high court has ordered all provinces to distribute X amount of the drugs and she is refusing, saying she is supporting Mbeki etc. blah blah get a nice 4x4 out of this I will. Now that is good in itself (that she is going to court and will go to jail.) But the best bit is that our countries Health Minister, MANTU TSABALALA MSIMONG, has announced that if the Eastern Cape minister is convicted then she will martyr herself and resign. Once again, to this all South Africans can only say: Jail the bitch! Kill two birds with one stone. Woohoo! Good day so far. :-D

Those seem to attract stray missiles. :suss: Paul Watson wrote: health MEC ... is convicted then she will martyr herself and resign Oh my God. Paul, am I the only one who reads "free travel" into this sentance? Perhaps it's time to sign up! After all, they will be nowhere near the real danger (I guess this is a very non-pc view  ) Paul Watson wrote: Go Winnie! Go! Later in the day reply: Check this link: DA Welcomes Winnies offer to be human shield in Iraq[^] "the Democratic Alliance is delighted at the idea she put forward that she go to Iraq to act as a human shield. She has become a stranger to the corridors of Parliament and she will not be missed. Perhaps she should resign and move permanently to Iraq, he said in a statement." Suddenly reading the news becomes more enjoyable! :-D
