Hi ,this is my first time to ask a question here.Thank you all in advance. My job is about storage drivers on linux/unix which may help me to learn pci and could see the linux system underling code. But this is not my interest. I am the guy want to learn "popular" technology which may worth to learn in rest of my career. So if I want to learn some thing at spare time, which is more suitable to my current job? I mean ,1) virtualization :to learn about Xen/virtualbox. 2) storage :some code like GFS ,HNFS, ... 3) or big data analysis . So which is more suit able to me ,if 2 years later I change my job. A Big question .Thanks.

Think the other way: find a company and job you want, read their job description, then try to learn the skills needed. Also need to check if the goal is reasonable.
