Nice. I love it when that happens. About 2 weeks ago, I paid for something with a £10 note, but they gave me a 20 back. I pointed it out as I'm nice like that...sometimes. :-D Quote from a clever bloke : "I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein

I have had similar incidents happen with me too. On several occasions I have had money returned to me when I gave a Rs. 50 note instead of a Rs. 10 note, and a Rs. 500 note instead of a Rs. 100 note. Of course, I have had chances to do this too, return money that is. Small incidents like these make me feel good and warm all over, and restore/reinforce my faith in the human race. :) Thanks for sharing. :rose:

I think I'm about 5'7" to 5'8" which is just short enough for me not to attract too much attention. I do know one girl who towers over me though (she must be at least 6'2") and she seems to manage OK too. :) Anna :rose: www.annasplace.me.uk

Then kick him until he stops laughing, or point out he's replaceable... My wife is 4,11 (but always insists 5,0) and I wouldn't dream of making fun of her (ahem) shortcomings - she might decide to do likewise with me, and while my height is not an issue, I'm sure she'd be able to find something else... Of course, our 3 yr old uses her step-stool to reach stuff he shouldn't, which is a different problem altogether. Steve S [This signature space available for rent]

But in this case I was totally innocent  One other funny thing about bus drivers in our area - they seem to need glasses. I'm 27 - 12 years older than the maximum age for child fares (40p instead of 70p), but at least once a week a driver charges me as a child. Admittedly, this does happen more often when I have a woolen hat on for the cold, but occasionally it even happens with no hat! Then I'm left with a dillema - do I embarress the bus driver and give back the 30p, or keep the 30p and feel guilty... Oh for life without a conscience!
