I don't know how often I have read stuff like "70% of all projects headed by SAs fail" (Sure thats just taking a number out of the air) Maybe the old saying "Physician heal thyself" needs to be applied. However a project is more guaranteed to fail without SA than with. Certainly with small projects SA has helped us become far more efficient and successful. The main benefit is protection for us. A client signed specification document is gold.
